TileHush does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything you do in the game stays on your device.

This data never leaves your device. We do not send it to any server, and we have no servers.
Everything listed above is written to app-private storage — the sandboxed area Android reserves for TileHush, which other apps on your device cannot read. Because the app has no account, no server and no INTERNET permission, none of it is transmitted, and there is nothing of yours on our side that could be breached.
We also switch off Android's cloud backup and device-to-device transfer for this app (allowBackup="false" plus explicit backup exclusion rules), so your game data is not copied to Google Drive or carried over to a new phone. It stays on the device that created it until you remove it.
We do not collect, log, or transmit:
TileHush has no analytics, no advertising SDKs, no cloud sync, no accounts, and no crash-reporting SDK. We do not embed any third party that collects data about you for us.
One clarification, so that "no crash reporting" is not read too broadly: if an app on your device stops responding or crashes, Android itself may report that to Google, and we can then see anonymised, aggregated crash and performance statistics in the Google Play Console ("Android vitals"). That is a platform feature, controlled by your device's usage-and-diagnostics setting — not something TileHush collects or switches on. We receive counts and stack traces, never anything that identifies you.
The app does rely on two Google Play services that are part of Android. We don't receive any personal data through either; they are operated by Google under Google's Privacy Policy:
These services do the networking through Google Play Services, so TileHush itself does not request the INTERNET permission.
If we add advertisements in a future version (Google AdMob is the likely candidate), we will update this policy to disclose what is shared with the ad network, request fresh consent under GDPR / CCPA where applicable, and ship a new app version.
Settings includes an optional "Send feedback" button. If you tap it, the app opens your email app with a new message to us, pre-filled with the app version, your device model, and your Android version — details that help us reproduce bugs. Nothing is sent automatically: you can edit or delete any of it, and the message reaches us only if you choose to send it. This is you emailing us, not the app collecting or transmitting data on its own. The same is true of the "Share score" button, which hands a short text to your device's share sheet only when you use it.
TileHush declares one permission: VIBRATE, used for the optional haptic feedback on placements and clears (toggle it off in Settings → Audio). It is a normal, install-time permission and does not access any of your data. The app requests no runtime permissions.
TileHush is suitable for users of all ages. Because the app collects no data, it complies with COPPA, GDPR-K, and equivalent regulations by default. There are no in-app purchases, no in-game advertising, and no account or profile creation. The only sharing feature is an optional "Share score" button that opens your device's standard share sheet with a short text — you choose whether and where to send it; the app sends nothing on its own.
Retention: we retain nothing. We hold no copy of your data, because none of it ever reaches us. The data listed above stays on your own device for as long as TileHush is installed, and is erased the moment you clear it or uninstall the app. There is no server-side retention period, because there is no server.
Because we don't collect any data, there is nothing for you to request, export, or delete on our side.
To wipe the data stored locally on your device:
If we change this policy, we will update the "Effective date" at the top of this page and bump the in-app version. Material changes — for example, adding advertising, analytics, or any form of data collection — will require explicit consent inside the app before they take effect.
